Hi,
I am getting a AGFA Ansco 8x10, but i would still like to continue shooting 4x5. There is a Burke & James 8x10 to 4x5 reducing back listed in the forum B&S. But i wonder if anyone here knows if the back can be mounted directly or with little modification that doesn't requires much hacking? They just look too similiar to give me hope. :(

The images all belongs to the seller, i am just asking for some help here. Thanks to those in advance who reply. :)

Ask for the measurements and compare?
How far apart are the pins?
What it the size of the light trap?
What are the overall dimensions of the back?
If the numbahs jive, yer in like flint :)

FWIW on my Agfa Ansco 5x7, the back isn't held with pins---the spring fits on a brass reinforced plate---but that is on a 5x7. Anscos can be found in a lot of variations.

From the look of the board, it seem like it doesn't uses pin as well. I am just worry about size of board as well as fitting of internal square.

I think it should work ba, i go ahead and get the back first then worry later. No point thinking too much as i guess not much people happens to meet with such incident.
