Since Fuji has stopped making the Pro160c in 4x5 size what is the Kodak Ektar like? I mainly shoot landscapes and I'm curious if anyone has tried it. Let me know.

Check out the other ongoing threads on Ektar and Portra here. Basically, Portra 160 is
going to be more similar to the Fuji product. Ektar is more saturated and slightly higher
contrast, so requires more careful exposure and filtration. I always carry an 81A filter
for overcast conditions, and an 81C for deep open shade. All the new Kodak color neg
films are excellent, but you should probably experiment to see what you like best. I'm
heading for Maui next wk with Ektar. It does wonderful things with those tropical blue
waters, and will give cleaner greens and yellows than Portra of Fuji negs, but you do
have to pay attention to shadows going unexpectedly blue and getting that particular dye layer underexposed, which can be difficult or impossible to correct later.
