Schneider 360mm Tele Xenar lens elements

Greetings.

Can you take the front and/or rear lens elements from a Schneider 360mm Tele Xenar mounted in a barrel and swap them into the same lens mounted in a compound shutter, or are the elements somehow different in each mount so that they cannot be interchanged?

It depends. The 360 Tele Xenar was also available for 35mm cameras and this version may use a different rear element arrangement. Otherwise it should swap into a Compound 3 (early lenses) or Copal 3 (late 60's onwards).
