Cheap lenses for testing Anything familar

I was at a local place that is doing a spring cleaning, Tons of enlarger lenses and such, I bought a bunch of stuff for real cheap. Here are the lenses

The Carl Meyer has no aperture so I will see what 4.5 will do on my 8x10. And the little Kodak lens is a projection lens, also a f4.5. I will play with it on my Speed Graphic.

Has anyone here used either of these lenses as a taking lens?

A PVC spacer and some rear water house type stops might make some decent images, Hell I hope it is nice and soft at but sharp enough to render the an eye 4.5 and say piss on the stops.

Anything you might know about my local find is much appreciated

I tried putting washer stops on the front of projection lens and they worked just fine. Just make them out of thin cardboard like a lens cap.
