Obviously the committee has lost its often criticized inquiring mind and nominated well established classics like Robert Adams, Joel Sternfeld and David Goldblatt.

Maybe they should have hung a "No winners -- gone fishing" sign on their front door this year. But that takes guts, and cuts the committee's funding for next year, doesn't it?
