I'm finally getting around to designing adapters to mount many of my barrel lenses into shutters. Next up is a 3" Zeiss Biogon from a USAF aerial camera. Making an adapter for the front element is straightforward, but the design of the rear barrel makes the rear adapter problematic.
It would be a big help to me to see how this was done in factory-mounted lenses. If someone who had this wonderful lens in a Copal 1 shutter would kindly take some pictures with the rear element removed, showing details of the barrel and shutter, it would be a big help. Thanks in advance for your help.
