View Full Version : Which 180mm 5.6 lens for close up 8x10?
So which 180mm 5.6 multi-coated will cover 8x10 at a close almost macro distance? I have under $600 to spend. Thanks in advance.

cover or cover sharp...
no matter--anything will cover if you get close enough---no kidding...
just get one that's more symmetical if you're close to 1:1....
best is probably the 190 wide field ektar--it's designed for up close....
but any 180 that covers 4x5 will cover 8x10 at 1:1...any that covers 5x7 (which is all of them I think) will cover at smaller magnifications than that...just get zee cheepest one then....
or if you want sharp, get the WF ektar or a 180 or so process lens--those are probably zee cheepest
