View Full Version : Soft Focus from a landscape lens and Happy Holidays

I took a tiny f/16 brass landscape lens I have (9x12cm coverage), unscrewed the front fixed aperture stop mounted in front of the barrel to expose the element to a wide open amount of light at about f/7. Basically, converting the little brassie from a slow, capable landscape lens to a "rapid" soft focus lens featuring oodles of aberrations and flare... I mounted the lens to a macro bellows rail that mounts to my Canon digital camera....

Nobody was home, so Santa became my model. And some out of focus Xmas lights too....
