Not mentioned in the review, there is a free iPhone and Android app for this exhibit: http://www.thejewishmuseum.org/exhibitions/photoleague Unfortunately the app was designed for a smartphone, and visually does not work so well on a tablet.

I saw this one on a recent visit to NYC and enjoyed it. The pictures are a mixed bag, as you'd expect, but the value is more than historic - many of them stand well on their photographic merits. The sum total of the pictures, other artifacts and annotation provides a nice education about the Photo League. And they get extra credit from me for managing to include one of David Vestal's pictures. :) Recommended.
