I've shot some 8x10 Ektachrome and perhaps would like a print from it. My local pro lab does not make 8x10 internegatives. My question is can I do it myself and just have the lab do the processing? Is a contact frame adequate? What film and light source should I use? Should I look farther for a lab to do it?

That sounds like a job for a big-city lab which services professionals. It takes special internegative film exposed under tight color filtration. Even if you have equipment to filter the light, a full box of that film will cost more than your first Volkswagen.

...and if you want to try such a lab, I recommend www.modernage.com.
