How do you properly use the Calumet print washer?

There's the top inlet that is connected to the two "sprayer things" then there's the two drains at the bottom. I have those two bottom drains connected together to stop water from coming out of either. Then water flows out of the top. Is this correct? How fast should the flow rate be? Thanks!

I don't know if different size washers are set up differently. But on my 20x24 washer, the lower outlet drains the entire washer & the upper outlet is where the wash water comes out.
