I'm thinking it's time to upgrade from my little ilford cap-40 that was modified for RA4 to a 20" table-top processor with a wash/dry module. Manual replenishment interrupts the flow in the darkroom and manually washing prints slows me down, too. Does anybody have some advice on who to contact to source out such a unit? It'd need to be shipped to Calgary, Canada.

I left a phone message with Footprints Equipment out of Washington because according to their site they had a good assortment of units at fair market prices. Any other places I should contact?

update: I also sent an e-mail to footprints equipment but it bounced back saying the domain name wasn't found. Guess I'll wait for a call back from them.

I'd look for a Fujimoto CP-51 if you can find one. It's a nice unit, and among the most compact for a home-type user. Well engineered too, and with a good build quality.

Those things are selling from $200 to $5000; it's insane. Either the seller thinks they're worth they're weight in gold or it's somebody who wants it out the basement asap.

Prices do seem to be all over the map. The CP-51 that I got (with the W/D unit) I got from Canada, ironically, for $250. Shipping was about $400 though to bring it to the US. I got a CP-31 with W/D and replenisher for $100, which languished here on the forums for a while. Both need cleanup but are in good shape otherwise. my "nice" CP-31 with W/D and replenishment I got for $300, but it was near spotless and very cleanly maintained.
