hi cyrus

if it what i think it is ...
kodak used to make something similar to it called "so-132"

it is a single-step negative duplicating film
so you contact a negative on it, process it in print developer
and you get a negative.

i have noticed it is about as slow as azo paper, and sometimes there is a bluish cast.

good luck !

Would this be a replacement for ortho film for making masks?

I was interested in this film at one point for using in a digital printer, to make negatives for alt printing, Until I called them and really was put off by their customer service area.
I was asking for roll sizes and was put in my place very quickly.
But Jerold I think you could use the cut sheet film for many purposes. Mask making included.

Yes
I just got a catalog in the mail and noticed a price DEcrease ???
maybe it's different from what i have used, or maybe an attempt to clear out the 8x10.
It's Xray dupe film, [ that's why no rolls, probly] slower that SO-132, so enlarged negs may require several minute exposures- don't move, don't breathe. Paper developer will work but it tends to build contrast so a film developer may be easier to tame it with- I've used both depending on the desired end.
Single side emulsion you can see which under the safelight.
Just Do it

They also sell a high contrast ortho film which I just bought but haven't used yet.

I process these high contrast ortho films with 510-pyro 1:500 16mins to obtain very good pictorial images. It has ISO~10
