I'm just starting out in LF photography and just got a Fujinon-W 135mm f5.6 lens in a seiko shutter. My question is there a trick to open the lens to compose? I can see the lever but it wont move. I don't want to force it.
Thanks for all your help
Generally the shutter needs to be cocked to open the shutter for focus/compose viewing.

That's a must for Seiko shutters, but most other shutters don't need to be cocked in order to open the lens diaphragm.

That did it. Thanks for the info.
I have a Seiko shutter where that preview lever is iffy at best. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But there's always "T" in the worst case.
