Replacing original fresnel on Linhof Technika V

Quick question,
I believe the fresnel screen on my Super Technika V is the original Linhof part. It is very scratched and I'm wanting to replace it. If I purchase the genuine Linhof replacement and simply swap the screen out, could this affect the focus point?

If your fresnel is on top of the gg. No, it is designed to be swapped or removed by the user there.
If it is under the gg then a service center should do it, set the proper gg distance and switch the position so the fresnel is on top like all current Linhofs.

Great, it's on top of the gg. Loupe use has scuffed it up over the years. So I'm good to go then?
