Looks like an old crystallographic or metallurgical scope, '60s vintage. Most likely set up for polarized light.

The microscope itself appears to have a projection center that is used to focus on the 4X5 film holder/GG. A bellows, shutter & GG appear to be missing.

The stand is a Leitz macro copy unit modified to hold a conventional microscope. Poor image doesn't show if the illumination is transmissive or metallurgical or both. The camera attachment looks like a Linhof mirror box and international back for a 4 X5 holder. As mentioned the bellows is missing. Built like a truck. Vintage 1950 to 1960 I'd say.

Thanks everyone, I thought you all might find it interesting. Thank God I have a small apartment, or else I would have even more non-working but awesome junk... wait...
