Ilford Delta 100 availability?

I ordered some Ilford Delta 100 (4x5) from Fotoimpex in Berlin in mid-August, and am told that delivery will now be in mid-September. I thought this film in 4x5 would be almost always in stock. Is this just a blip during the summer, or are there possible problems at either Ilford or Fotoimpex?

There's possible problems everywhere especially in Europe but there's all kinds of reasons for a retailer being out of stock besides problems with the manufacturer or retailer. In fact it could be good news - maybe Ilford ran out of product or raw materials sooner than anticipated because sales were so good.

It's widely in stock in the US. Have you tried vendors other than Fotoimpex in Europe?

Just ordered 100 shts of 5x7 Delta 100 from Badger Graphics over here on the west coast of the USA, hope there is no problem?

It's more likely because that's when Fotoimpex gets its next bulk delivery from Ilford. Ilford carry almost all products in stock at the factory they don't wait for a product to run out before manufacturing the next batch. Only SFX is made in batches once a year.
