Lens Thread Size

Ive just bought a Schneider Super-Angulon f/8 120mm lens. I looked on the Schneider data site and it lists the thread size as "M82 X 0.75". Does anyone know what the equivalent thread diameter size is in millimetres is as I'd like to use my Lee filters with the relevant adaptor

.. and M like Metric !

And "0.75" is the thread pitch, 0.75 mm per thread (metric threads are labeled with the inverse rule with respect to threads in inch, denoted, as far as a metric citizen like me can know, by the number of threads per inch, TPI)

The pitch is as important as the diameter, above 43mm in diameter, modern filters use 0.75mm as their standard pitch up to 82 mm ; filter diameters 86 mm and above use 1mm thread pitch.. at least on the catalogue of European or Japanese manufacturers I know.

On an older lens, unfortunateley, there is no guarantee that a filter of diameter between 43 and 82 is 0.75 mm pitch ....
