did it last night after seeing fragomeni's idea on apug to do this....
I was already developing film, so I did it while the film was rinsing....
I tried it on an unexposed but not tossed type 55 pn print...was very dark.
bleached 5mg/l 50/50 with hypo...like less than a minute brought it right up there...AND the blacks are still black black....took a dark pic that would need to be scanned to fix and fixed it proper...nice increase in contrast.
this gives a method to PUSH polaroid film!!!!! develop "by inspection" too!!!!!
SAVE THEM DARK ONES...
OH--this implies that INTENSIFICATION willalso work...save them overexposed ones too!!!!!
the increse in contrast make it look even more like a WEEGEE pic too!!!! great effect...especially with the very black blacks...
slight pee-color after stain compared to non-bleached NOTE NOTE
