I recently had two Jobo CPP2's sent to me from a customer. One of the two was modified along the line of some peoples discussion on this group related to wiring in a aux power supply or pump modification. This particular unit had DC and AC components splice wired into the same loop. There was a hole drilled and a mono plug jack installed on the side for what I can only guess was a DC supply. The hole was Low enough for water to seep into the unit (and obviously did). Additionally the 110 volt circulation pump was spliced into the DC circuit as well as the heater and DC 24V Motor. The case partially melted, my guess as a result of shorting that most likely occured. Please don't wire stuff if you have never done electronics. Pay the extra money and either send the machine to someone that has worked on the machines before or knows enough to test the components to discover thier voltage requirements.

Thanks.

...and when the modifications don't work they think they are going to design and build a unit better than the Jobo...
