I have used a Patterson Orbital Processor for my 5 x 4 and my 7 x 5. Not a problem but I have heard that using one of these to process 10 x 8 black and white, people say they can get streaks due to uneven development? Is this correct,if so would it be deep tanks, tray develovopment,or the nova 3 slot? Ray

I have not used the Patterson Orbital, but my experience has been that some cases of 'uneven development' are from 'uneven exhaustion' of the developer. So make sure that you have enough concentrated developer and avoid dilute solutions of low volume in any tank or tray.

Cheers for that,as you say. If lets say ID11 which you can use at 1-3, maybe better using this solution (which I do use at 1-1. Sticking to these better concentrates maybe ok? Will let you know. Thanks Ray

How then do you process yours?

I use either a tray or a Jobo according to my mood. In either case, I use at least twice as much solution as suggested in order to avoid developer exhaustion.
