hello! i have a whole stack of large sized and 100' mural rolls of agfa fiber base paper (approx. 5 years old). they are un-opened, stored in a cool, darkroom. will there be any fogging starting and how long do i have before it starts to process it's self? i also have about 4 boxes of 4x5 kodak neg. film in a fridge. they are also bout 4 years old. will i have to use a contrast filter when exposing or adapt my processing to keep contrast? any info will be great! thanks!

I dont know the answer to your question, guess you will need to develop a little to know for sure. I recently bought 5 packs of Ilford 16x20 gloss fiber unopened for just $40 on local CL. All fogged and about 6 years old.

My experience has been that papers with developer incorporated don't last that long, even if refrigerated. I don't know if the Agfa falls into that category. I agree you have to try some to know for sure.

If the refrigerated film you are asking about is B&W my guess is it should be just fine.
