75mm with flat board on Linhof

Can a 75mm lens (Rodenstock 75mm/6.8) mounted on a flat lens board focus to infinity on a Linhof MT (classic, not 2000/3000)?

Yes it can, but...

It may sit too far back on the focusing track for good stability and proper operation with the bed dropped as it should be. When the lens is in a recessed board the front standard will sit about a half inch further away from the back than in a flat board.
