I found some boxes of fuji pro 160s expired 01.2011. It was stored at room temperature. Do you think it will be okay?

I developed las month the first shots with Ektachrome duplicating film expired from 97 or so, stored at the shop temperature (as the room temperature - they didīnt refrigerate the film boxes) and the slides are perfect. I didīnt saw any strange color dominance ar other rare issue.

I think you could use your expired sheets without any problem.

I'm sure it will be fine. Personally I wouldn't use it for a once-in-a-lifetime shooting opportunity or for a commercial client. But really, it's not very far past date and I doubt you'll notice a difference.

hi mark

i wouldn't shoot really-important photographs
until you do your own tests with it. i have shot
important and not so important photographs with
room temp / shelf stored 5 year+ expired fuji 160
as well as velvia and they turned out just fine ...

"certain films do certain things" so sometimes its
best to do a test to see if the film you have will do
the things you want :)

good luck !

It is highly probable that all the film is good. If you are nervous, shoot a test roll. Otherwise store the rest in the refrigerator and enjoy the film.

I've shot film that was 5, 10, even 20 years old with no problems. Just shoot it at box speed and it'll probably be fine. Black and white film seems to keep forever...color film not so much. Shoot it and have fun.
