Hello,
I just finished a bachelor photography studies. My diploma work was "Wet plate - ambrotype". But in our country we don't hahe master photography studies. Maybe anybody can suggest a good place for master photography studies.
I prefer analog photography orientated to XIX century photography techniques. I prefer studies in Europe.

I would say, after doing one degreee, you ought to get out there and start taking photographs. Degrees are an expensive way to learn stuff you could find out yourself for free :D

You can learn a lot from going through a good Master's program. A lot of people poo-poo it, and yes, it's a huge investment of time and money, but I have a number of friends who went for their MFA and never regretted it. No, it doesn't assure success, but many have been successful because of it.
Think of your favorite current photographers, and find out where they're teaching.

I hope you have lots of money because you won't make expenses doing that type of work.

so what if he is not after a degree?
I don't know where the OP is from, bu there's a possibillity:
I teach analouge photography at Vraa Highschool in Denmark.
Here one can stay (boarding school) and study ex photography for 4 months - up to a year..
No degree - No exams. Just a lot of time exploring what you find interesting. (within out main subjects which are: photography (analouge), photojournaliam (digital) - textile - music - Art and so on)
Students from all over the world.
access to darkroom/studio 24/7
Great food - and lots of it...
Study trip...
and it is not even expensive, considering. (And for non danes there's a possibillity to get grants - especially if you're from the "new" EU contries....)
One student (from Serbia) told me, that she had searched, and searched, and found this place to be the only one left in Europe that offers this.... (living/eating/get taught at the same place)
Having done a Masters in Photography I can't believesome answers sorry Joanna and Lynn but you are talking absolute rubbish.
Few if any Masters Degrees will teach you any technique it's not what they are about, you have to learn for yourself, they may and should challenge your image making and more importantly articulation of photography/photographs, whether it's your own work or someone else's.
Gandolfi's point is really about the kind of learning you might do before or even after a Master's, when you stop learning you've atrophied :D
Many Universities offer Part Time Masters programmes so you work and study over a slightly longer period.
