Hi all,
It's been a long time coming, but I've finally decided joined the heralded LFF that I've heard so much about. I'm a tree with few rings when it comes to large-format photography, but I've learnt a great deal from those over at APUG and I'm sure the same will be true here.
My foray into LF began when a Burke & James Orbit monorail (with red bellows) appeared on my local CraigsList. It was impossible to resist; so, one saxophone (as trade) and a hundred & fifty dollars later, I was outfitted for 4x5".
My next move is to get a press camera so I can throw it in my backpack and ride my '71 Honda CB100 around the beautiful countryside of Lawrence, KS (home of the Jayhawks!) and search for "the photographable".
