I am considering this head to make minor framing adjustments when I use my Lotus 14x17. Does anybody have some direct experience with it? It's not clear to me how you connect the camera to the head, for instance, but the head seems to be sturdy enough, reasonably priced (at least in Europe/euro) and I have always been happy with Berlebach products (the 14x17 stands on one of their Uni tripods, for instance).
This is the link. (http://www.berlebach.de/?bereich=produkte&kategorie=65&sprache=english)
Thanks!!

Looks like it uses hex keys to adjust. In other words, you loosen it, set it in position and tighten it down. It does not appear to be something you would use to make adjustments with. Set it and forget it.

Excellent points Jack, thank you. Looks like a no-go for what I had in mind.

Take a look at the Berlebach 3D and 2D Special range, they are made for LF cameras and are very tough. They weigh about 1.2 klgs, and are rated for 12 klgs load. Great for 8x10, but you may want to ask them about the weight of 11x14, they are very helpful in their responses.
