Unkown 1/4 plate holder

[Fourtoes]

Anyone recognise what camera this 1/4 plate holder would fit?
Its a little different in style to the usual with its two slots and brass catch.

Any info appreciated.

Do you know sometimes I cant see for looking.

Checked a holder/back I had in a drawer in the studio and it was the same blooming fit. Doh.

So the JLS on the badge is only J Lancaster & Son....obvious now.

And it just slides in along the metal rather than slotting in to the wood cutouts of the other camera.

What a muppet.
