I would be interested in any users opinions on either the Shen Hao HZX810 or the HZX57-IIAT. Both are the teak and titanium models classic design (not the Philips center focus design). I am looking for some information on build quality, smoothness of operating, general impressions, or anything else you would like to share.

I own the 4x10 version.... happy to show it off. I'm in Burlington, Ontario if that's close to you. i also plan to bring it to Photostock.

I haven't had it that long but enjoy using it.

I think the finish and hardware are better than the entry level cameras. The finish is nice, but not near what an Ebony is. Of course the Ebony is the top model on the market and four times the price. Overall I think they're good value and hope to spend the summer shooting mine.

I haven't used the 8x10 model but did see it at Photokina. The 5x7, I've sold a couple over the years and have always liked it. In fact if I didn't buy the 4x10 I would have got the 5x7.
