I have heard high praises for these developers, on this forum and in the "film d eveloper cookbook". It is available ready mix at the Photographers Formulary. Ho wever, it is not included in the "massive development chart" or in the book, alt hough it is referenced frequently. Any starting points? Thanks in advance.

They ARE in the book. Look at pages 126 and 127 for the formulas.

Thank you for the chemical formula location in the book. I don't see the reference to DEVELOPMENT TIMES -such as "process FX1 undiluted for 11 minutes @ 68 deg. agitate until your agitated"

Don't know how helpful this is - I've used Arista 125 (widely speculated to be FP4) and I mix my own soups. I've used FX2K i.e., using metaborate instead of carbonate for the alkali. Often use it at 1:1 as a stand developer (i.e., agitate once at the begining and leave it alone after that - development times were about an hour and a half or a little longer - if you're using the carbonate alkali version, I would think your time would be considerably shorter - along the order of 45 mins). With normal agitation, my time were on the order of 30 minutes - again, with the carbonate alkali, I would imagine that times would be on the order of 15 mins. Please note that these are based on my guesses. I would urge you to test. Cheers, DJ.
