What do you do with your 545i?

Is this unit good for anything anymore, besides propping up the short leg on the table?

1. I threw mine away.

2. I'm sure if I had tried hard enough I could have dreamed up some non-photography use but I didn't see any reason to bother. It's not like they were things of beauty from an aesthetic standpoint.

Probably going to throw it in storage after I finish off some remaining ReadyLoads.

The rollers might be salvageable for use in another holder, but I can't say that I've tried this.

You could always use it with something completely different (http://new55project.blogspot.com/2011/04/dtr-and-great-negative-too.html#links).

Unlike The Impossible Project, New55Project seems to be making real progress.

Send it here. Don't toss out your Readyload holders either. We have students who can use them during the project.

Please mail them to

Thanks

PS, I just tried the newer Spectra compatible Impossible Project film, and it produced a nice sharp monochrome image, so I think they are making good progress too.
