hey all,

i have a water house stop that a friend lent me to make him some stops. it is brass but i do not think it is original as it has a bevel on both sides of the hole. most of the dallmeyer stops i have seen are only beveled on one side......BUT seems very thin.

can anyone measure the thickness of there stops in mm for me?

while we are measuring. let just check the width of the stop please?

what is the diameter of the f3 stop?

the stop i have is .96mm thick and 85.5mm wide.

thanks

1/32" is what I have written down for the thickness. Sorry I don't know the metric = :-(
87 mm's wide is also what I checked.

cool. 1/32 is .79 so maybe it is not as thin as it seems.

thanks PP.

anyone else?

Check your slot with a gauge for setting spark plug gaps. Go just a little thinner! I wouldn't be surprised if there was considerable variance over the years...
