I will be shooting in colorado this summer. Is there a lab that will process 4x5 and 8x10 B&W and E-6 in Denver or Boulder?

I use Slideprinter (DDGI) in Denver for my E-6 now. Their turn around time for E-6 is just a day or so and they are happy to both receive and send work back by Priority US Mail. Most of the recent E-6 they've done for me has been 8x10. They do a fine, reliable job.

Since my darkroom is down, I've been mailing them the various 120 roll B&W films I've shot with pinhole cameras over the last few months. Again, they do a fine developing job with a variety of B&W films--T-max, Fuji Acros, Arista EDU., etc. They do a fine job with medium format color negatives, as well.

However, you should know that they have a whole different turn around time for B&W films. In my case, I may wait three weeks to see the film I send them. I recently sent them some 8x10 B&W film and they called to let me know the price for developing 8x10 B&W was $16.00 a sheet (ouch)--seems 8x10 B&W is the one thing they aren't often asked to do. Prices on all else are pretty reasonable--pre-local source E-6 collapse.

Actually, Photocraft no longer does their own E-6 processing. It is farmed out to Reed Photo. When Photocraft moved, they tore out their E-6 machine and scrapped it.

Huh? I had an early post on this thread regarding Denver Pro Photo, Reed Photo, and The Slideprinter. It has been deleted, but there is no message from a moderator as to why.

Hmmm? How does that happen?

Edit: Sorry, I didn't recognize that this is a duplicate thread.

I mistakenly identified Slideprinter as DDGC. Actually, it is DDIC--Denver Digital Image Center. I got back the B&W test shots done 2 weeks ago just today--both 4x5 and 8x10. Very nice processing.
