Hi All,

Sometime lurker, first time poster. I recently acquired what I thought was a 4x5, but measuring the opening in the back, appears to be 8x12 camera, with a xenar 4.5/135 in compur shutter. From the serial number (243175), the lens dates from ~1928, and overall the camera seems in pretty good condition aside from needing the back reattached and a new screen? I can't find any identifying marks on the case or camera body. Any input or information about this camera that you guys could offer would be greatly appreciated--I'm rather new to LF. Sorry about all the pics, just trying to be thorough. Thanks in advance.

This is a 9x12 (the 135mm lens is a pretty good indicator of that), but I don't know which brand or model - there were so many that looked so much alike.

The front standard looks like a Voigtlander, but hinge brackets don't look quite right for either an Avus or Bergheil.

Well made late 9x12. The later 9x12 had wider set rails to match the bigger lens used when F4.5 dominated. Were there a set of plate/film backs in the case? Aluminium body frame? No trade name on the leather handle strap?
9x12 film is available.

it came with two holders--i'll get pictures of them up in a minute. the only markings on them were "DRP"

couldn't find any marks on the leather strap, pictures of the backs are now included in the set, and what do you mean by aluminum body frame? thanks again.
