Schneider 150mm f5.6 Apo-Symmar MC vs L

I am able to buy a used (like new) Schneider 150mm f5.6 Apo-Symmar MC for a third of the price of a new 150mm f5.6 Apo-Symmar L. What is the difference between the two? And is it worth triple price?

The Apo-Symmar-L has a slightly larger image circle.

The differance is not worth the price.

Before I sold my 4x5, I had a pre-L 150mm Apo-Symmar. I could not imagine a lens getting much better than that one. Kinda bummed I sold it even though I have no use for it anymore. You can't go wrong with either version.
