Time for Bluebonnets?

When are the Bluebonnets due to bloom in the hill country?
Every year I ask the same question, but something always comes up. Maybe this year...?

Last year was killer.

Best years have a lot of year end rain (Nov-Dec).

this year has been dry...

There are other flowers to be shot, but the locals are not expecting a great bluebonnet season.

Timeframe is a bit variable, there are websites that follow the bloom, you can find a number by googling.
