I am gearing up for a Manfrotto 3039 (now re-named the 229).
I understand that in addition to the supplied hex plates, there are 4"x4" plates that work with the hex QR system.
This might be more advantageous for me and the Toyo G that will rest atop the 3039.
Does anyone have any information on these 4x4 plates?
