My favorite part was when he was talking about the Nepal trip. Something i sooo want to do…someday.
Hiking up the mountain and trying so hard to carry the camera but eventually giving into his sherpas and letting them carry it.
I know the feeling, carrying my 12x20 Korona, tripod, 4 film holders and lenses is painful but worth every minute.
The banquet format is fantastic for portraits but my Korona is not designed for verticals, which i like.
I figured out a way using a tripod with dual heads that will slide around the pole. Not totally safe but it works.
The heads wont lock completely down under the weight of the camera but for short exposures it works.
