What to get for Shen Hao PTB45 with 65mm + 90mm lenses:

1) Shen Hao standard ground glass + Ebony wide angle fresnel

OR

2) Ebony standard gg (which includes fresnel) + Ebony wide angle fresnel

(Please do NOT recommend getting a Maxwell screen, it is too expensive)

Check out the 4x5 Tachihara bright screen and gridded cover glass at www.mpex.com

Should fit the Shen Hao.Less expensive and works fine for wide angle lenses.

I am in Europe, VAT+customs is about 25% if I order something from the US.

Rolle,

Email jim@mpex.com

He is a Tachihara and Ebony dealer.

Tell him what you need. He ships internationally.

You might be pleasantly surprised.

Took a risk and got a Yankee Optics 2-in-1 (Fresnel-GG combined) screen on e-bay out of Shanghai for $80 for my very dull Shen-Hao 45IIA screen. Arrived yesterday. Unbelievable! At least 2 stops.

Can you find a Shen Hao fresnel screen? I've had one on my camera and am quite happy with it. I think Robert White is a dealer.

You for sure can order it from Badger Graphics on this side of the pond, but there is the value added business. I ordered a viewer (used) from Scotland and the seller marked it camera parts, that might help, not sure how VAT works though.

Hi,
I just brought my first panoramic camera(fuji GX617) and it has a center filter,my question is:

Do I need to compensate the camera with the center filter?
Can I use the camera without it?

Do I ad a uv filter?

Is there anything I should know when using a panoramic camera?

Many Thanks
