More information please.

Krauss Tessars are ok lenses, but whether it makes sense to use yours depends on its condition and on whether it is in shutter. So tell us.

I've had an ex-Air Ministry 5"/4 Wide Angle Xpres (E.M.I.). Uncoated, not very sharp, and flary. Also in barrel, putting it in shutter would have been very expensive. Understand that my example might have had a hard life. Tell us about yours. Condition, in shutter or not?

Salex is the name under which Sales & Exchange Co. (I think that's their name, could be mistaken) resold photographic equipment. Focal length, condition, shutter?

If you want to go LF, just do it but try to do it with usable gear. Don't invest much in making apparent windfalls usable, they're not always worth the expense.

I've also had several of these including one or two that could still be found with searches unsold in the classifieds. But I've never had one I'd walk across the street for so far.

I once saw a Salex Euryscope, but could not find any documentation on it. Had the seller given me the option to return, i might have checked it out. i ended up passing the opportunity by.
