Hi , My question is on many forums i have read that one of the drawbacks of this film is i'ts thin base. But am i correct in assuming that in sheets it would be thicker?

It's available. It just isn't as cheap to get it here as it is to Australia from Japan. An email/call with a credit card is all it takes!

Yeah, I know. I should have said available to the U.S. for a reasonable price. Although, with Ilford FP4+ going up to over $100 locally for 25 sheets, it is not as far off in price as it used to be! I just stocked up on Ilford. Maybe when it is time to buy again the Yen will have come down some.
