I mixed my first batch of FX-15 and was expecting a speed increase, because of t he Phenidone. Surprise, I got a speed decrease of one stop compared to D-76H. Wh en developed to normal contrast, the EI that produced a Z 1 density was 125. I w onder if my mixing of the Phenidone was the problem. I had difficulty disolving it and had to heat the water (distilled) to almost boiling. Anyone tried this or other FX developers?
