How to clean glass on Epson 4870 scanner?

I've got an Epson 4870 scanner and the underside of the glass bed has become quite dusty (I'm not sure how that happened). Is there any way to safely remove the glass to clean it?

Also search the Epson_Scanners and Epson3200 groups on Yahoo. There are pdf files on dismantling the scanners for cleaning available for download there. You'll have to join the groups to access the files.
