I cant, but if you post your query in the "Linhof serial Numbers" thread then Bob Salomon (who I think is Linhof's US sales rep) may be able to. You might also make his task easier by telling him the size (eg 6x9, 4x5 etc).

That serial number is for a 1967/68 Super Technika V 5x7 camera.

Far, far, far less demand. If the demand for the 23 and the 57 was near the 45 they would not have been discontinued.

I have an older Technika III 4x5, serial number 32649. It has a rotating Linhof spring back and I was wondering if conversion to a Graflok back is possible or not. I would like to shoot 120/220 roll film backs and with my present back only the Calumet C type of back can be used.

1953 Technika III. The slip-in Linhof Rapid Rollex backs fit this model. They are 6x7 format. There are no parts or accessories for this camera to change the type of back you have but the Rapid Rollex will work.

the point is, 2 years ago I bought a Linhof TEchnika in Belgium with the SN 32716
I think this a technika III, am I right ? how can we know the date of the model ?

It is a Technika III from 1953. No parts are available for a III.

Can you help with the identification of the version. I believe the SN # is 81404. Can you tell me if it is a IV or V as it has the tan leather on the camera.

Would you identify year of manufacture of two Linhof Press 70's?

older one is 9740
newer one is 1841072 has strange horizontal wind handle on side.

Parts look compatible and I hope to make one working example out of the two.

My copy of "The Linhof Camera Story" says the Press 70 was made from 1963 to 1979.

The 45 III takes the same backs as the modern technika 45 and all the 45 Technika's made from 1946-2023+. All you need is a more modern back.
