Adapter Board: Linhof to Arca

I've recently purchased an Arca-Swiss Discovery 4x5 camera and rather than re-mount my lenses I'm considering the purchase of a Linhof (Toyo) to Arca 171mm adapter. I've seen some, advertised on the Bay, at substantially reduced pricing as compared to the OEM product. Am I being "penny wise pound foolish" considering anything other the real thing? Not necessarily. I have a Linhof/Arca adaptor for the 6x9 AS, from Ebay and very probably not OEM product (if it exists) and it works normally.
