Anyone know anything about this camera? I saw it in the window of a photo school in Amsterdam, but forgot to get a shot of the school's name.

It's by far the largest camera I've ever seen that looks like it was designed for conventional photography as opposed to printmaking or copy work... The back must be 40x40" or larger!

I thought it was a process camera.
It's in the window of the photo academi in A'dam ?
I have seen it before. That thing is big.

But this one is much bigger. It's at the Photomuseum in Antwerp (belgium).

I have seen one at least as big in the museum of photography in Denmark, and that was made for copy work...

Huge monster....

Hmm, maybe it is for copy work after all. If so, they sure made copy cameras much nicer back in the day!

Here is another, recently built, for Ben Cauchi a New Zealand artist. 20x24 wet plate. With a Dallmeyer 6D on the front.

Never mind the camera but what about the lens?? It seems strangely retouched on the picture and also the wooden construction under it doesn't suggest it carries the weight of the whitish blur which wants to be a lens.

I saw a video (on U-Tube?) of a guy in California who built a camera in what looked like a shipping container. He had it on a utility trailer and backed it into a scenic overlook. Hemade direct posatives on a paper medium and processed them in a large PVC pipe Jobo-type roller that he made. The images were maybe 3x5 feet or larger.

Thats a BIG camera.
