Hello All,

I started off with a DSLR, then gradually moved on to the rangefinders then the 6x6.
Recently I got myself the 617 and the 4x5, and I have to say I'm having so much fun !!

I really love the way the Petzval lenses fare, and I truly enjoy using them without the shutter. Right now I'm trying to find someone to help me cut the lens board to fit the compound shutter.

Anyhow, I look forward to learning from everyone here !!:)

There seems to be quite a lot of LF activity in HK, in case you weren't aware...

yep, there sure are quite a good few people in HK doing LF !! but since I'm just starting out exploring this new arena, I'm kinda shy away from these fellas.

Part of the reason I got into LF is after modeling for Shima11 and seeing the outcome of a Petzval lens. The process takes forever yet this is where the fun lies

Welcome Victor,

There is nothing like going out with some long-time users familiar with all the movements of the cameras and learning from them. I am sure they will be more than willing to teach.
