That is interesting. & that is generally how the 3000 series tanks work.
I wonder what is being used as a baffle to support the individual cylinders (the white- part)

Looks good. Somebody should make a bunch of those that can be ganged together in longer drums. If they could be put inside the 2500 series drums they could sell a lot of them as an alternative to 3000 series tanks. I wonder if the dimensions are very functional for 8x10 or other formats in addition to 4x5. That way, you could use the same drum with different inserts rather than buying multiple Expert drums.

I think I would use the 60RPM setting if I used that system. At 30RPM the inside half of the tubes don't get much developer solution compared to the outside half.

The Jobo expert drums are very well designed. Each cylinder is slightly barrel shaped, to allow solution to circulate behind the film, and each cylinder is angled in at the top, so that it fills when it's at the bottom of the rotation, and drains when it's at the top. It's the efficiency of this design that allows the Expert drums to operate with such small solution volumes and provide perfectly even development. And the development is intermittent, with the film in the developer solution about 1/2 of the total development time. Jobo set a very high standard with the Expert drums.
