I recently tried some 8x10 fomapan film and was surprised at the softness of the images after printing. I thought possibly I had misfocused or maybe had some movement on the tripod during exposure. However all 4 of the fomapan negatives printed soft. I also compared them to my usual HP5 negatives that I also exposed on the same day and these all printed tack sharp as usual. I processed the fomapan in my usual pyrocat HD. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I've found Foma films no different and I use Pyrocat HD. They do build up contrast far quicker, but that's easily tamed by dropping the film speed and the dev times,

In terms of sharpness there's no difference.

I haven't seen any issues with the sharpness of Foma 100. Lovely stuff.
