Should I buy this tripod on ebay:

For my Toyo 45aii.

It's a Gitzo 410 with Foba superball. I'm not going to bid if it goes much over $200 but I don't think it will. The cosmetic condition is rough, apparently one of the legs sticks a bit and one of the knobs has cracked plastic.

For $200 I figure I could do worse. I want a ball head and something sturdier than my current (terrible) tripod. And $200 is my entire tripod budget, so that works out neatly. It looks heavy, though.

Too bad. That was the steal of a lifetime. Tripods with cracked knobs don't come by everyday.

You can get a Feisol for $200, it's carbon fiber and a great tripod. It can support 19 lbs and weighs something like 3 lbs, so it should work great with your Toyo.
